UPDATE

The details of the deal between Toronto and Boston have come to surface. Boston will receive Toronto's first round picks in 2010 and 2011 and an additional 2010 second round pick in exchange for the rights to Kessel. Immediately after the deal went through, the Leafs announced the signing of Kessel to a 5 year/$27 million contract. This is a good deal for both sides. Boston had no chance at re-signing Kessel and were properly compensated for the sniper. Toronto on the other hand, got their guy and now have a superstar player to build around. Leaf fans should be excited about the new addition.
