Kimbo Speaks Out, T.O. Wants Twitter War With Rodney Harrison, Theo Fleury Retires

In a conference call with the media on Monday, Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson commented on his much-anticipated fight on The Ultimate Fighter: Season 10 with former IFL champ Roy Nelson and also spoke out about comments made by the only man who beat him in MMA competition, Seth Petruzelli. The fight with Nelson has already taken place, but because the show airs tomorrow night on SpikeTV, results have not been released. "I was impressed with my performance," Slice said in the call. He also hinted at a fight for the UFC in December which does not mean he won the show. A lot of the fighters who lose get to fight in Ultimate Fighter Finale. Kimbo is currently training with American Top Team in preparations for his fight. In the interview, Kimbo was really upset about comments made by Seth Petruzelli. On an online forum, Petruzelli told fans that Kimbo would not accept a re-match. Petruzelli also told fans he was coming to the UFC soon.

Here's what Kimbo had to say about it from MMA Frenzy:
“No one ever approached me with no rematch with Seth, and I never turned that shit down. That right there is B.S. It didn’t happen,” Slice responded when asked about Petruzelli’s claims that he declined a rematch. “If Seth signed with the UFC, and if Dana and them want to match it up, damn right I’ll run it again with him. We don’t even need to do it in a ring. We can do it bare-knuckle style because I don’t like liars. I’ve never turned down a rematch with anybody. Anyone I fought, I’ll fight them again.”
Although the interview was really hush-hush, it sounds like Kimbo will be staying in the UFC after all, regardless of how he performed on the show. Wednesday's show is touted as the biggest fight in The Ultimate Fighter history. Be sure to tune in to SpikeTV tomorrow at 10 p.m Eastern Time to check it out.

Terrell Owens won't back down from anyone. Even if they're on steroids. On Monday night, T.O. went off on former New England Patriot and current NBC Analyst Rodney Harrison on his Twitter account.

Here are all the Tweets in chronological order via T.O.'s Twitter account:
I could less about Rodney Harrison! Anybody tht using steroids, yes STEROIDS rodney, is a cheater & cheated the game!
Is tht Y u used steroids b/c u were worried about ur stats or ws it b/c u were losing it? Lol! U're a loser & a cheater? Got any steroids I cn borrow?

Hey Rodney if I really considered using them, could u please lv instructions on how & where 2 stick the needle just like u did 2 assure I do it rite!
My bad Rodney! I hv been corrected by ur supporters, u used HGH nt steroids! So, every1 go ahead & use HGH!! Geez, I guess tht makes it better 2 use!!

In 2007, Harrison was suspended for violating the NFL's drug policy when he admitted to law-enforcement officials he had taken HGH to recover from an injury. After a terrible performance by the Buffalo Bills on Sunday where Owens had no receptions, Harrison criticized Owens, calling him a clown. The two have been at odds since they exchanged trash-talk prior to Super Bowl 39. It will be an interesting to see how Harrison will respond.

Theo Fleury officially announced his retirement on Monday. Fleury was the feel-good story of the pre-season this year. During Fleury's NHL career, he suffered from drug and alcohol addiction that forced him out of the league for several years. In 2003, while playing for the New York Rangers, Fleury was suspended twice for violating the NHL's substance abuse program. It ended his career pre-maturely. This summer, Fleury, sober for nearly four years, was officially re-instated by the league and attempted a comeback with the team he spent the majority of his career with, the Calgary Flames. Even though he looked good, scoring four points in four games, including a shoot-out winner, he was cut by the team at the end of camp, ending his comeback bid. In an emotional press conference, the teary-eyed Fleury said the decision to end his career now instead of going overseas or searching for a two-way contract somewhere else in the league had a lot to do with retiring on his own terms."I could not sign with another team. I retire a Calgary Flame," Fleury told reporters during the news conference. Although a lot of controversy followed Fleury during his career, he will always be remembered as one of the most exciting players in the league.
