The New York Knicks and PF David Lee have agreed to a one-year contract worth about $7 million with $1 million in incentives if the Knicks make the playoffs this season. The team has stressed this importance of clearing space for next year's free-agency period when many prominent players will hit the market. They have stated repeatedly they have no interest in signing any players for more than one year this summer. They have been in discussion with both Lee and G Nate Robinson for the majority of the off-season. Robinson is expected to sign as well either today or tomorrow. Keep it posted for more updates.
