NFL POWER RANKINGS: WEEK 3 by Razmig Darakjian

Rank 1
New York Giants (3-0) - The Giants should cruise to a 5-0 start then a battle with the Saints will be waiting.
Rank 2
Baltimore Ravens (3-0) - Joe Flacco definitely has my vote for most improved players through three weeks of football. This team finally has a passing game.
Rank 3
Indianapolis Colts (3-0) - What more can I say about Peyton Manning.
Rank 4
New Orleans Saints (3-0) - Proving they can win on the road; a battle of the unbeaten this week as they take on the Jets defense.
Rank 5
New York Jets (3-0) - Will see if Rex Ryan can pull off a big win in the superdome.
Rank 6
Minnesota Vikings (3-0) Brett Favre vs. the Packers on Monday night with first place on the line in the division
Rank 7
New England Patriots (2-1) Once this team figures out how to get the four extra points in the Red Zone they should be fine.
Rank 8
San Francisco 49ers- (2-1) Showed toughness after losing Gore; a date with the Rams will cure the last second defeat.
Rank 9
Atlanta Falcons - (2-1) This team learned a lot this week and should be ready after their BYE.
Rank 10
Philadelphia Eagles - (2-1) Kevin Kolb did his job in replacing McNabb but we should see him back on the sideline after the BYE
Rank 11
San Diego Chargers- (2-1) A big challenge this week vs. the hungry Steelers.
Rank 12
Denver Broncos (3-0) We’ll just wait and see after they play some tougher opponents.
Rank 13
Dallas Cowboys - (2-1) Will see what the offense can produce vs. the Denver D.
Rank 14
Chicago Bears - (2-1) Cutler has now produced 3 straight late 4th quarter drives to put his team ahead.
Rank 15
Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) What an impressive win vs. the defending champions.
Rank 16
Green Bay Packers (2-1) Rodgers should be ready to play Favre on Monday night.
Rank 17
Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2) Two tough losses. They’re a better team then 17 but how can I put them higher after losses to the Bears and Bengals.
Rank 18
Tennessee Titans (0-3) Another loss by one possession I think they put up win number one this week.
Rank 19
Arizona Cardinals (1-2) Superbowl Hangover?
Rank 20
Seattle Seahawks (1-2) Ill put down what I wrote last week: As Matt Hasselbeck goes so do the Seahawks.
Rank 21
Miami Dolphins (0-3) Bring in Chad, Chad Henne, maybe a 1-15 is on its way.
Rank 22
Buffalo Bills (1-2) T.O has to start smiling.
Rank 23
Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) Don’t get too excited.
Rank 24
Houston Texans (1-2) The inconsistency continues…
Rank 25
Carolina Panthers (0-3) Most disappointing team after three weeks.
Rank 26
Oakland Raiders - (1-2) The passing game is a real big problem.
Rank 27
Washington Redskins (1-2) Jim Zorn just took the lead in head coach to be fired first race.
Rank 28
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3) This team just dropped; maybe JJ is the answer at QB.
Rank 29
Detroit Lions (1-2) I see a couple more victories for this team, not this week though.
Rank 30
Kansas City Chiefs (0-3) Matt Cassel has to start showing his worth.
Rank 31
St. Louis Rams (0-3) Boller or Bulger…Who cares!
Rank 32
Cleveland Browns (0-3) Maybe a visit by the Bengals can get them going.
