Wayne Gretzky has stepped down as head coach of the Phoenix Coyotes today according to the Associated Press. There has been speculation about Gretzky's commitment to the team because of his absence from training camp. The much-publicized Coyotes bankruptcy case has to be a big factor in his decision.
