- A video has hit You Tube insinuating that the Minnesota Twins (video shows Joe Mauer) steal signs to tip off batters of certain pitches. Twins players laughed at the accusations. The video shows Mauer rubbing his head and face while on second base, apparently signaling the pitches to teammate, Jason Kubel. Check the video out in my Featured Videos section.

MMA
- In last nights Ultimate Fighter Season 10 match-up, Kimbo Slice was defeated by former IFL champ Roy Nelson via knock out in the second round of the fight. Although Kimbo featured some punching power that looked to rock Nelson in the second, Nelsons ground game and weight was too much for Kimbo to overcome. Nelson took Kimbo down in both rounds and had him pinned to the ground. Kimbo had no defense and could not continue to fight back so referee Herb Dean called the fight. It was slated to be a pay-per-view type match-up but ended up a dud. It will be interesting to see if the UFC signs Kimbo regardless. I hinted in a post earlier this week that Kimbo is training for a fight in the Ultimate Fighter Finale in December. The preview for next weeks show hints that Kimbo may get another chance to fight. It will be interesting to see how well he improves his ground game and whether or not he signs with the UFC. Keep it posted for more details and check the preview of next-weeks show in the Featured Video section
