LATE BREAKING NEWS

The Cleveland Browns have traded star WR Braylon Edwards to the New York Jets. Jay Glazer of Fox Sports is reporting that the Jets sent two future draft picks, WR Chansi Stuckey and Jason Trusnik to the Browns in return. Although Edwards is one of the most talented receivers in the league, he comes to New York with much baggage. Earlier this week, Edwards was in the news for allegedly punching a friend of Lebron James outside of a Cleveland night club. The NFL is currently investigating the incident. Sources can't confirm whether or not the scuffle was his ticket out of town. This trade solidifies the Jets as contenders and gives rookie QB Mark Sanchez a viable target to throw to on a game-to-game basis. If Edwards can keep himself out of trouble, this should be a solid move for the Jets.
