The Allen Iverson saga has taken another turn. It was announced Sunday that Iverson was granted permission to leave the Memphis Grizzlies to deal with a personal matter. The announcement comes at a questionable time. Earlier in the week, Iverson told reporters he is upset with his role in Memphis. In all three games he's played this season, Iverson has come off the bench for the Grizz. He met with team owner, Michael Heasley, on Friday night after the team lost to the Los Angeles Lakers which resulted in the decision. It will be interesting to see what happens next. Iverson is notorious for his off-court issues and outspokenness. The only reason he signed with Memphis in the off-season was because of the lack of interest in his services.
